Upon successfully completing her internship at Essential Healthcare Solutions she was offered an opportunity to join the team. Andrea is also a certified OCS (Ophthalmic Coding Specialist) and continues to receive healthcare services training.

Michelle Apadaca - Lead Account Executive

Michelle has broad and extensive experience in healthcare management, applied technology, and administrative services. Her revenue management skills and keen understanding of the A/R process have helped numerous Essential clients increase productivity. Michelle is a member of the American Medical Technologists Association, certifying excellence in allied health. She has previous direct healthcare industry experience in ophthalmology and internal medicine.

Michelle has a Bachelor Degree from Weber State University in Accounting / Business. She has worked for Essential HealthCare Solutions for 2 years. Michelle has brought to this company over 10 years of experience in Accounting and Human Resource applications. Michelle has lived in the Utah for the past 27 years. Michelle, her husband, Kevin, and their daughter Amanda reside in a small community of Clinton. She enjoys the outdoor experiences that Utah has to offer in its backyard (ranging from the ski slopes to the national parks of Zion). Richelle Bishop

A proud mother of three beautiful daughters graduated from Northridge High School. She became a Medical Billing and Coding specialist in 1998, and began her career with Essential in August of 200. She continues her medical coding education and training to advance her skills.

Tami McDaniel - Manager of Operations

Bringing with her 20 years of experience in the Optical Industry, including retail management, lab manufacturing and as an operations trainer. She began her career with Essential Healthcare Solutions in 2005 as a certified professional coder in 2005, with a specialty in ophthalmology coding. She has worked with two of the nations top optical corporations and has been able to apply her acquired skills and abilities to her current position as Operations Manager. She is currently working to achieve her certification in Human Resource Management in the spring of 2010. Tami brings to Essential 20 years of healthcare industry experience from management to operations, including direct experience in optical, retail and manufacturing. Previous to her current position as Operations Manager, she worked with two of the industry's leading optical companies. Tami is a certified professional coder, with a specialty in ophthalmology coding. She expects to receive a certification in Human Resource Management in the spring of 2010.

Tana Carrigan was born and raised in Utah. She graduated from Morgan High School and is currently attending UCC for her Veterinarian Technician degree. She has worked for Essential health care for a little over a year and has worked in the medical field since she graduated in 2006. When she's not at work or attending school, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, camping, hunting, ATV riding, and Horseback riding.

Tera Durrant received her Medical Office Specialist certification in 2003 from Certified Careers Institute. She has been working in healthcare management for 6 years, with specialties directly in OB/Gyn, Cardiovascular Surgery, Ophthalmology and General and Orthopedic Surgery. She hopes to grow and evolve with the Essential Healthcare and eventually become team leader.

Sarah has three years of medical billing experience for several specialties including Ophthalmology, Ocular-Plastic Surgery, and Hospitalists. Gained through her experience at Essential Healthcare Solutions, and formerly a local area hospital; she specializes in Revenue Cycle Management & Collections, Credentialing & Enrollments, Denial Management, and Practice Operations. Sarah wears many "hats" at EHS which is supported by her go-getting and problem solving approach's to business.
